Applications available for Habitat for Humanity, Saint John Region Inc.’s 2003 build

Habitat for Humanity’s fifth home, located at 264 Mount Pleasant Avenue in East Saint John, is now complete, and applications are now available for the 2003 build.

Criteria for applicants includes the need for adequate shelter, a willingness to partner with Habitat for Humanity in the construction process by investing hundreds of hours of “sweat equity”, and the ability to repay a long-term, no-interest mortgage.

Applications can be picked up at the reception desk, Investors Group, 1st floor, Mercantile Centre, 55 Union Street; Phototocraft, 2nd level, Market Square atrium; or at Holly’s Pizza Hut, 416 Rothesay Avenue. For more information contact: Ken Milner at 635-0995.

Deadline for applications is January 15, 2003.
