Citifinancial secures Citigroup Foundation grant for Habitat for Humanity, Saint John Region, Inc.

(SAINT JOHN, NB) -- CitiFinancial’s offices in Saint John, Sussex and St. Stephen have secured a Citigroup Foundation Grant, through the Local Contributions Program, in the amount of $14,000 US for Habitat for Humanity, Saint John Region Inc. This represents the second grant awarded to Habitat for Humanity, Saint John Region Inc. by CitiFinancial. Last year, the local affiliate received $6000 US. In 2002 Citigroup and Citigroup Foundations gave $1.5M US to support Habitat builds around the world.

Investors Group Commits $60,000 to Habitat for Humanity, Saint John Inc

SAINT JOHN, NB –– Financial Consultants from Investors Group, Saint John, announced continued support for Habitat for Humanity Saint John Region Inc. Richard Walter, Regional Director of the local Investors Group, said they will commit $60,000 over the next five years to the cause.

“We’re really proud of the achievements of Habitat For Humanity Saint John; of what they’ve been able to do over the last four years,” said Walter. “They’ve helped four families realize the dream of home ownership through a caring commitment from the community-at-large, and the outpouring of support both financially and in volunteer time from many individuals and companies throughout Saint John.
